Monroe, WA. 2005

Another great model train show and swap meet at Monroe Washington on April 30th and May 1st 2005.

Lots of G, O, HO, Z and of course N Scale with the sponsoring club being UNW, United Northwest N Scalers.

These pictures will try to deal mainly with Milwaukee Road and N Scale - some exceptions)

Friday Night Kirk Reddie was doing a picture shoot with strong possibilities some of them will show up in MR.

Here are Kirk Reddie on the left (publisher of N Scale Railrioading) and Peter Kim, a very talented N Scale modeler and Milwaukee Road enthusiast.

Here is Kirk setting up for one of his pictures on the UNW layout.

A F7 (mine) Hudson pulling into a full track

Two Hiawathas meeting in the Cascades

Another shot of the same meet

A Bi-Polar in the roundhouse

On another N layout this gent had a couple of semi boxcabs.

Our own Gary Pember and his wife at their display including his two new prints

The Cle Elum gang was there with their HO layout. I took pictures of their model of the Cle Elum depot …

… and the substation

Not Milwaukee Road but a great shot of a passenger and freight NP meeting in the Cascades near Stampede Pass.

Always one of my favorites: A custom built army train with about 120 cars on 6 N Trak modules. More than half the vehicles on the cars are scratch-built. I saw it running 2 years ago - 7 Kato F7s, custom decorated.

More of the army depot

And a nice container terminal
