The Arbutus Canyon bridge is located at Mile 15.5 Victoria Sub, 1 Mile up from the far better known Niagara Canyon bridge (where many of the E&N promo shots originate).

Mile 16 Victoria Sub. "The Malahat" has just left the only tunnel on the E&N, and since it is Sunday it is running on a later schedule, thus giving better light. This is the very same train as in the photograph at Arbutus Canyon bridge. It will remain a mystery on how I managed to accomplish this.

The last revenue traffic on the E&N was on the Port Alberni Sub with 6 trains a week, pretty well tonnage in both directions. Very little photography is available on this line, and no video that I know of. For the most part it is very slow track (10mph) but it is nothing short of spectacular in scenery. I devote about 40 minutes of the E&N video on the Port Alberni Sub. The great trestle in the above picture is at Mile 14.2 of the Port Alberni Sub.
